Add/ remove nodes

to activate the tools, go to the left toolbar and select one of the options to start editing right click on the triangle shape or press for a few seconds to open the alternative actions activate add node with + or remove node with use on 3d shapes add node tool select an object, activated the tool in the left toolbar, hover over the line close to where you want to add a node, a green node should appear and indicate where the new node will be added, you can add nodes to a line in 3d with a slight offset to the current line click to place extend line when the add node tool is active, you can extend the line by clicking on either the start or end node of the line when the mouse is over a node you can extend from, it changes the cursor in addition, you can also extend a line from the start or end with keyboard shortcuts press 0 to extend the line from the end or shift+0 to extend the line from the beginning remove node tool activated this tool hover over the node you want to delete, nodes will turn red as you hover over them to indicate which will be deleted click to remove a node use on 2d shapes add node tool activated this tool a white line should appear as you move closer to the annotation, connecting two nodes simultaneously click to place a new node it will be placed where the white line peaks remove node tool activated this tool hover over the node you want to delete, nodes will turn red as you hover on them to indicate which will be deleted click to remove a node
