this guide covers how to find and start working on a task, for any task type, whether it's already assigned to you or you need to assign it to yourself there are two paths, depending on your workspace role my tasks docid\ bgtv8prkhlmdeoxebbu31 available to everyone shows the tasks at the front of your queue use this for everyday work request details β tasks docid\ nzjynohsym97 hqecnq4w tab available if your workspace role includes request management (annotation manager, project manager, developer, admin) use this when you need a specific task that isn't at the front of your queue, or when you need to assign a task to yourself via my tasks on the my tasks docid\ bgtv8prkhlmdeoxebbu31 page, tasks are organized under their parent request (the delivery they belong to) under production , locate the request you want to work in open the task not started for tasks you haven't begun yet ongoing to continue a task you've already started each task is clearly labeled with its type, e g annotate , correct, and review via the tasks tab in request details if your workspace role gives you access to a request's management page, request details, you can open and work on tasks from there workspace roles with access to request management are annotation manager, project manager, developer, and admin open the request, either from its project page or the operational overview open the tasks tab locate the task you want a few useful starting points filter by type to narrow to a specific kind of task, for example type = annotate when you only want annotation tasks filter by status to see only to do or ongoing tasks use the assignment filter to find tasks assigned to you or unassigned tasks search by scene or assignment id when you know exactly which task or scene you're after make sure the task is assigned to you your name should appear in the assigned workforce member column if it isn't if the task isn't assigned to anyone open its context menu and select assign choose yourself, then confirm if the task is assigned to someone else use reassign to take it over only do this if you're certain it's the right call reassigning takes the task away from a colleague who may already be working on it open the task's context menu and select work on this task
