time by project is the third tab of manage team report it takes the working time your team has reported through the stopwatch and groups it by project here’s where you can see where the hours in a period actually went the team report tab answers "how much has each person reported?" this tab turns the same data around and answers "how much has each project consumed, and who worked on it?" everything on this page comes from reported stopwatch sessions it reflects the time people reported and not the tasks they completed or the annotations they delivered use it when you need to compare how much time different projects are consuming over a period split a projects hours into billable and non billable see how many and which people contributed time to a project find reported time that was stated unknown good to know a single selection can span at most 60 days only time reported through the stopwatch appears here billable and non billable is a manual classification applied to individual sessions, not something the system decides time nobody has classified counts as billable the page shows time for people you have permission to manage and projects you have access to choose a time period the page opens on the last seven days to change it open the time interval picker at the top of the page pick a start date and an end date the report reloads for the new period what is unknown time? below the project lists sits users with reported unknown time time which the system could not tie back to a project i can be for example when the session was logged against work that no longer resolves to a project it is listed per person rather than per project, because there is no project to list it under each row shows the person, their total reported time and the billable and non billable split unknown time is kept out of the main project list and out of the "total reported time excluding unknown projects" card, so that a project's figures are never inflated by hours that may not belong to it this table is not affected by the project filter filtering to a single project still shows all the unknown time in the period, because unknown time has no project to filter on see who worked on a project and when in the main table, click the row for the project you are interested in a panel opens on the right, titled with the project name user breakdown lists every person who reported time on the project, with their reported, billable and non billable totals daily breakdown lists the projects reported time day by day, most recent day first if the numbers do not look right a project's total is lower than you expected scroll down to the unknown time table hours that could not be attributed to a project are held there instead of being folded into the project the totals do not add up to your organisation's reported hours the reported time card deliberately excludes unknown time add "total reported time excluding unknown projects" and "total unknown time" together
