Access Management

This view is only available in projects where your organization run the annotation project.
The access management feature enables workspace administrators to manage access types for projects within an organization. Different access types comes with different settings for project access.
We currently support two access types - open and limited access.
This is the default setting in the Kognic platform. Each user that has access to a project's organization will also have access to the project. What each user is able to do with the project depend on their assigned roles. One user might only be able to open assignments within the project while another user can see project progress.
By switching to open access every user that has access to your organization will get access to this project and its data. Specific access to pages and settings is decided by the userβs role. No history of who has been granted access to a project will be stored.
With limited access enabled you have to be granted access to the project on an individual basis in order to see the project and its data. It will not be enough to only have access to the organization.
By switching to limited access only selected users can access this project and its data. The user that switches to Limited access will automatically be granted access. Remember to grant access to other users that should have access!
Users granted access to a project with limited access can be seen in the lower part of the Access management view. You can sort both on the name and the email of the user. You can also search on name and email of the user in the top right corner.
Granting access can be done either by searching and selecting users in the dropdown menu or by pasting emails for the users which you want to grant access.
You can remove user access via the options-menu next to each user. A removed user will no longer be able to access the project information, data and requests . You can't remove access from your self, another workspace administrator have to do that.
