Time report
The Time report is your own working time, as recorded by your stopwatch. It shows how much you have reported this week, what you spent that time on and every session behind the totals.
Use it to:
- Check how many hours you have logged so far this week.
- See what your time has divided in.
- Edit a session if you forgot to stop your timer.
- Correct a session if a state or request is logged incorrectly.
Good to know
- You canβt export. There is no CSV download on this page.
- You canβt add a session by hand. If time was never recorded at all, ask your manager to add it for you.
- Editing is limited to the current calendar month.
- Only the end time of a session can be changed. The start time is fixed.
Finding the page
Open your profile menu in the navigation and choose Time report. Can't see this option? Make sure the Time Reporter role is assigned to your account.
What do the table columns mean?
The table is titled Reported time past 7 days and opens with the most recent session first.
Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
Start time | When the session began β weekday, date, and time on a 24-hour clock. |
End time | When it ended, in the same format. Ongoing if the timer is still running. |
Edited | Yes when the session has already been corrected. |
Billable | Whether the time counts as billable. |
Request | The annotation work order the time was logged against. Hover for details. |
State | The work phase selected on your stopwatch. |
Time spent | How long the session lasted. |
Is my ongoing session included?
Yes. If your stopwatch is running, it appears at the top of the table with the text βOngoingβ in the cell under the column title end time. An ongoing session has no actions available.
How do I know if a session has expired?
A red warning icon in the End time column, reading Expired time, means you started the stopwatch and never stopped it. The timer ran on until it expired by itself (12h) and it is overstating your hours until you correct it.
Correcting your own sessions
- Find the session with the warning icon.
- Open the context menu at the end of its row.
- Choose Edit reported time.
- Enter the correct End time. The start time is shown but cannot be changed.
- Save.
The icon disappears once the session is fixed, while the Edited column keeps a permanent Yes.
Correct the state or request
If you logged time against the wrong state:
- Open the context menu on the session.
- Choose Edit state and request.
- Pick the correct ones and save.
How do I mark time billable or non-billable?
Open the sessions context menu and choose Set session as non-billable or Set session as billable.
Change several sessions at once
Tick the checkboxes on the sessions you want. An action bar appears at the bottom of the screen showing how many are selected, with Billable and Non-billable actions.
State and request can only be changed one session at a time here.
What ifβ¦
The menu items are greyed out. The tooltip reads Cannot edit entries from before the current month. The session started before the first of this month. Ask your manager to help you correct the working time.
Edit reported time is not offered. That action is for sessions that expired. A session that ended normally is treated as correct. If it is genuinely wrong, ask your manager to help you correct the working time.
