The top menu bar runs along the top of the task view. Its dropdown menus gather task-level actions and settings: pausing your work, copying links and IDs, display settings for the camera images and the point cloud, floating settings windows, and help resources.

## The menus

[General](docId:9dBtdFNMcQfgSsUtwl3VO) — task-level actions: take a break, pause the task, view task and scene information, copy view links and IDs, and switch language.

[Edit](docId\:G3x7X8EgJvSV2JZriqsYQ) — undo and redo, duplicate, cursor and snapping preferences, the keybindings window, and tab switching behavior.

[View](docId\:uqZMVCnqfx8NYUZfkIzex) — display settings: image rendering, 3D camera modes, grids, projections, predictions, and point cloud coloring and filtering.

[Class/ Objects](docId:4_PxunJo1cj92oIATGXvm) — hide, lock, and adjust classes and objects, and control how object information is displayed.

[Window](docId\:nKKzt8vb6feW2Mw7M0I5t) — opens floating settings windows, such as camera settings, geometry settings, and point cloud settings.

[Help](docId\:gxr3RIBDjk5GATOjgOuTC) — the task guideline, user documentation, troubleshooting, issue reporting, and debug information.

## Why you may see different menu items

The top menu bar adapts to your task, so you will not always see every menu or every item:

- **Task type.** Point cloud items appear only in tasks that include a 3D view, and some image items appear only when you are working in a 2D view.
- **Task action. **Review tasks add review-specific items, such as the **Feedback** toggle in the View menu.
- **Role and permissions.** A few items require extra permissions, for example, downloading the OpenLabel JSON.
- **View mode.** The 2D grid view and guided workflows show a reduced set of menus.

If an item is visible but disabled, it usually needs something from you first — for example, you must select an object before **Duplicate **becomes available.

## Shortcuts in the menus

Menu items show the keyboard shortcut currently bound to the action. These are your own keybindings — change them via **Edit** → **Keybindings...**. See [The keybindings window](docId\:ZeOhmSOo_kfy-qZQnMNY2).
