The point cloud can be viewed from three camera views: **The Main view, the Grid view, or the Split view.** The default view is the main view.

## The Main view

In the main view, you will see the point cloud in which you should annotate, correct, or supervise. The layout changes depending on whether you select an object.

**If no object is selected**, you will see the point cloud (navigatable in all directions) with a miniature 2D image overlay in its right upper corner.

**If a 3D cuboid is selected**, you will see three additional camera views showing the object from the top, back, and right angles. This view is ideal for detailed editing of the object. Read more about these under [Object cameras](docId\:Wq00nqTw-hvAvjskFarnn).

## The Grid view

The grid view shows the selected object across four camera sources: the top, back, and right angles in 3D and the 2D image. We recommend this view when you want to edit the object in more detail since you'll have the object centered across all four sources.

There is a setting, 'show all objects in grid view', that lets you toggle on and off if you want to see other objects in the grid view or not. You can find it in the top menu ([Class/ Object](docId\:vp9ZP_skCQAYOaWKzCxbY)). Other objects can sometimes interefere visually with the current object, so there is an optional shortcut that can be assigned for this setting.

## The Split view

The split view display more of the 2D context alongside the 3D scene. We recommend using it when you need more 2D context while annotating or reviewing 3D scenes.

## Toggle to 2D

In a task that includes a 2D and 3D view, you can navigate between them using the switch in the top left corner or their designated shortcut.
