Activating quick feedback (ctrl+x) lets you click on objects or a location in the scene to leave feedback faster.

Clicking on an object will automatically detect that you're leaving feedback specific to that object, and clicking on a location will automatically let you place a pin.

The star of the show is the ***feedback chip ***that will open next to your cursor, so you do not have to go through the drop-downs in the feedback form.

You can either manually click through the options or select them using the `1-9` keys on your keyboard.

## Features

- Feedback chips
 - Shortcuts with `1-9` for blazingly fast selection of the feedback options
 - Click on a selected option to go back in the selection
- Auto-detection of object/pin feedback
- Multi-select, hold `ctrl` or `cmd` to select multiple objects you wish to leave feedback on
- Selecting to write a comment will open the side-bar temporarily and focus on the comment writing area and then close itself once done.
- Activate with the default shortcut ctrl+xor by clicking on the quick feedback icon in the expandable sidebar.

## Quick-comment templates and groups

When you reach the comment step of the feedback chip, you may see pre-written comment options in addition to **Write comment...** and **No comment**:

- **Quick comments** — pre-written comments shown by their title. Selecting one fills in the comment and submits the feedback in a single click, so you do not have to type anything.
- **Groups** — quick comments can be organised into groups. Selecting a group shows the comments belonging to it, then you pick the comment you want.

Quick comments and groups are configured per error type, so the options you see depend on the error type you selected in the chip. If none are configured for that error type, only **Write comment...** and **No comment** are shown.

Selecting **Write comment...** opens the feedback sidebar so you can type a free-text comment, then closes it again once you're done. **No comment** submits the feedback with no comment.

## The "+1" badge and active mode

While quick feedback is active, an **Add feedback** tab is shown to indicate the mode is on. Click the cross on the tab (or press `Escape`) to leave quick feedback.

Each time you add a feedback item, a **+1** badge briefly appears on the collapsed feedback sidebar to confirm the item was added. Click it to open the feedback list and see the item you just created.
