In some tasks, you select which of the delivered predictions to annotate before the actual annotation work starts. The task then opens in a **Prediction Selection** step inside [The 2D Grid view](docId\:IswiUyx3PTR7aDSL0MpAu), showing the predictions across camera sources and frames.

Unselected predictions are not annotated — they are marked as ignored for the rest of the task.

## Prerequisites

Only available in tasks configured with prelabel selection. The step appears once per task: when the selection has been made, the task opens normally. Review tasks skip the step.

## How to select predictions

Review the images in the grid. The right-side menu shows **Classes to look for** — the classes your selection should be based on, according to the project guideline.

Select the predictions you want to annotate in the next step. Each prediction is identified by its **Prediction ID**.

Press **Start annotation** to continue to the annotation step.

## View settings

- **Image Size** — adjusts how large the grid images are displayed.
- **Show projections** — toggles the 3D-to-2D projections in the images.
