The Join Lines tool allows you to merge two 3D lines or lanes into a single continuous line. This tool is only available for *aggregated-lidars-and-cameras-sequence* and *single-frame* tasks.

## Editing process

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Select the 3D line or lane you want to work with.

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Click the Join Lines/ Lanes button in the toolbar.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Select the start or end node to join from. 

If a start or end node was selected before activating the tool, this node will be active as the joining node.

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Hover over the start or end of the line or lane you want to join to your target line. 

A join preview will be displayed when a valid join point is found.

Click to confirm the join. The joined line or lane will be deleted.

You can only join two lines/ lanes that have the same class.
