Join cuboids merges two [3D boxes](docId\:jw2JFJ5i04upVcc7hv3Ek) tracks into one object. Use it when the same real-world object has accidentally been annotated as two separate objects in different parts of a sequence — for example a parked car annotated once early in the sequence and again later.

When you merge, the keyframes of the other object are moved onto the object you started from (for frames where it has no keyframes of its own), and the other object is deleted.

## Prerequisites

Available in sequence tasks with 3D boxes, in the 3D view.

## How to merge two tracks

::::WorkflowBlock
:::WorkflowBlockItem
In the [Edit tab](docId\:zicM7AvHQ1eaF_HKrqLFp), right-click the object you want to keep and select **Merge cuboid tracks**.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Follow the instruction: *"Select the object to merge with the current object."*

Hover a 3D box in the point cloud to preview the highlight and trajectory of the merged track.
:::

:::WorkflowBlockItem
Click the 3D box to merge.

A confirmation appears: *"Object was merged with ."* — with an **Undo** action if the result is not what you expected.
:::
::::

Press `Escape` to leave the merge mode without merging.

:::hint{type="info"}
If both objects have a keyframe in the same frame, the keyframe of the object you started from is kept.
