Create tab
This tab includes all classes available in the task.
When you have identified an object to annotate, you start the process by selecting a class from the class menu, shortcut, or context menu alt g
Each class has a designated drawing tool, which will automatically be activated. A class can have optional drawing tools in some tasks, and you can toggle between them in the Left toolbarο»Ώ.
Besides the class name, you will find the following things in every task: class colors, shortcut keys, and geometry shape icons.
Class colors are helpful to identify the class when navigating in the image or point cloud.
Kognic specifies the class colors and can't be edited in the application.
The assigned shortcut key is the number to the right of the class name. If there are two numbers, you must press the keys simultaneously.
The icons to the right of the shortcut key indicate what kind of geometry shape the class will create.
A way to avoid toggling back and forth between the create and edit tabs is opening the class list in the main view. To do so, use shortcut alt g (Mac option g).
