Brush shapes

There are two brush shapes for the brush tool, the cylinder brush and the sphere brush, which can be used in different situations.

The Cylinder brush is excellent at coloring large areas of the point cloud, while the Sphere brush excels at details and hard-to-reach spots.

Switch between the different brush shapes by activating the brush tool (select a class), and then pressing the brush shape button in the left side toolbar.

You can also toggle between the variants with the keyboard shortcut shift+b.

The sphere brush

When the sphere brush is active, the points under the mouse pointer will become larger, highlighting which points will be colored when you press the left mouse button.

As with the cylinder brush, you will continuously color the points while moving the mouse until you release the left mouse button. All unlocked points inside the circle will be colored with the chosen class color.
