What is an annotate phase?

Annotate phases are usually used as the first phase of a requests workflow. In this phase team members either label an input's scene from scratch or continue labeling an annotation created elsewhere (by a model or in another request).

In an annotate phase, all inputs entering the phase will eventually be labeled by a team member. This labeling is done in tasks of the type "Annotate." When an annotate task is completed, the now-annotated input moves to the next phase of the request's workflow.

Available actions

In an annotate phase, no specific actions are available. If you want to view or edit the task allocation of annotate tasks, you can do that inside the tab Tasksο»Ώ.

Available monitoring

Progress

In this section, you can monitor the current progress of the annotate phase and answer questions such as:

  • How many inputs have been annotated and moved to the next phase?
  • How many inputs are currently in this phase?

Inputs in phase

The number of inputs is currently in the phase.

Completed inputs

The percentage out of all inputs that have completed and left the phase. In annotate phases, "completed" means that an annotate task has been completed for the input.

General phase progress

This graph provides insight into how the request inputs are distributed in relation to this phase and other phases. You can see how many inputs are in this phase and how many have completed the phase and thus moved forward in the request workflow.
