Use this tool to split a 3D line or lane into two separate objects.

- Activate the tool by clicking on the button in the left toolbar or by pressing the shortcut (the default shortcut is shift+s).
- Objects that cannot be edited with this tool will be muted.
- Mouse over a part of a 3D line or lane you want to cut into two and confirm the cut by clicking anywhere on the line or on a node.
- At the cut, an attached node will be created. To detach the node to move it independetly, see 3D detach nodesο»Ώ.
- You can continue to cut objects until you deactivate the tool.
- Deactivate the tool by clicking on the button in the toolbar, pressing the shortcut, or pressing the Escape key.
