With this tool, you can remove parts of polygons.

Activate the tool

Manual activation

You find the eraser tool in the left toolbar.

Keyboard shortcut

Use shortcut key e to activate it.

How to erase

  1. Activate the eraser tool,
  2. Place points surrounding the area you want to delete,
  3. Close the polygon,
  4. The area should now be unlabeled.

The eraser tool will not erase a locked polygon (class or object).
